Kings Park and Botanic Gardens
Kings Park is the most popular visitor destination in Perth. The park is a 1,003-acre park located in the heart of Perth and is home to war memorials and the Perths Botanic Gardens. Free Walking Tour
As budget travellers we love a free walking tour. Check out i-City walking tours of Perth. They usually start around 9.45am. A free walking tour is a great introduction to any city. The tour lasts about 90 minutes and you will be guided by one of the volunteers from Perth City Council. Tips are appreciated.
Free outdoor cinema

We were staying just around the corner from Northbridge Piazza where free movie nights are hosted every Thursday and Saturday. Pull up a comfy beanbag and grab yourself a cheap takeout pizza or some snacks from the store. Thursday night offer a selection of classic and new release films. On Saturday nights Kids movies are aired.
Explore Fremantle Market
The Fremantle Markets take place between Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The market was first established in 1897 making them a truly historic attraction. Take some time to stroll around, listen to the various buskers, and get cheap lunch at one of the many food stalls. After lunch, pay a visit to Fremantle Prison and Roundhouse for a quick history lesson and to view some of Australia’s oldest architecture.
