Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan Two Week Itinerary- Quick Travel Guide

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Kho Phangan are three of the most popular islands for travellers while in Thailand. The Gulf of Thailand, formerly known as the Gulf of Siam, is situated in the western Pacific Ocean. The Gulf of Thailand is surrounded on the north, west and southwest by Thailand and on the northeast by Cambodia & Vietnam.

How to Travel Between Islands

We traveled with Lomprayah, the only high-speed ferry operator in Thailand. When you are shopping around for a ferry company you may notice that they are not the cheapest alternative. You will pay a premium to travel via speed boat.

Booking was very simple. You have the option of booking at the ticket book at the pier’s on each island or you can also reserve tickets through their Facebook. We reserved all our tickets by simply sending them a message via Facebook. Booking was so quick and simple.

Koh Samui – 4 Days

Out of the three islands, Koh Samui is the only island that can be reached by plane. This makes it the best starting point for anyone flying in and out. • Visit some of Koh Samui’s most famous temples – Big Buddha Temple, Wat Khunaram and Wat Plai Laem.
  • Hire a bike and explore the island. Stop off at some of the many view points, beaches and coffee shops along the way.
  • Check out Chaweng Beach, Lamai Beach and Bophut.
